So today my locker at the pool was broken. Turns out there was a coin stuck in it... A South African R5 coin, in a pool locker in London, England, more than 12000km away. What are the chances?

Now first things first, it kind of makes sense in a way- the locker usually takes a £1 coin, so putting R5 in is a good saving. The fact that when you open the locker again you get your coin back is neither here nor there, but still.

Anyway, I guess the point is that sometimes things happen that remind you how random everything is and simply the fact that we exist is such a collection of probabilities all strung together that one can only marvel at it all.
